Kiwi Safeguard Purchase Terms & Returns Policy

At Kiwi Safeguard, we stand by the quality of our products and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Below is our warranty and returns policy to ensure a smooth process if any issues arise.

Warranty Information

  • All devices come with a minimum 12-month warranty.

  • Reolink cameras include a 24-month warranty for added peace of mind.

If a product develops a fault within the warranty period, we will assess the issue and, where applicable, offer a replacement or repair. If a replacement is not available, we may offer an alternative solution, such as a refund or store credit.

Consumer Guarantees

All purchases are covered under New Zealand Consumer Law, which provides guarantees that cannot be excluded. If your item experiences a major failure, you are entitled to a full refund or replacement. A major failure is defined as a significant defect that cannot be easily repaired or would make the product unsafe or unfit for its intended purpose.

For minor faults, we will repair the item or provide a replacement where possible. If a repair is not practical, we may offer a refund or store credit at our discretion.

Returns & Refunds

Faulty, Incorrect, or Damaged Items

We take quality control seriously, but if you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please inspect it upon arrival and contact us immediately. We will assess the issue and work to resolve it as quickly as possible by providing a repair, replacement, or refund depending on the circumstances.

Missing Items

If any items are missing from your order, you must notify us within 7 days of the order being delivered. Claims made after this period may not be accepted.

Change of Mind Returns

If you decide you no longer want the product, you have up to 7 days from the date of receiving it to request a return. However, the following conditions must be met:

  • The item must be unused, unopened, and in brand-new condition.

  • All original packaging, accessories, manuals, and batteries (if supplied) must be included and undamaged.

  • A restocking fee of 5% applies, meaning you will receive a 95% refund of your purchase price. The remaining 5% covers merchant fees and handling costs.

Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the return is due to a fault or error on our part.

Online Purchases & Return Process

For items purchased online, returns can be arranged as long as they meet the conditions outlined above. Before returning any item, you must contact us to obtain a return authorisation number. Any returns received without prior approval may result in processing delays or rejection of the return.

The buyer is responsible for the safe return of the item, and we recommend using a tracked shipping method. Kiwi Safeguard is not liable for items lost or damaged in transit during the return process.
